Workshops and Presentations

GradFund offers workshops and programs throughout the year. Visit our calendar to see our upcoming events.

Workshops commonly include a general presentation of information followed by a period of question-and-answer. These events may be tailored toward a specific funder, stage of graduate study, graduate program, or toward a general graduate student audience.

Mock review sessions are available during the fall semester to scholars with a completed draft. In this venue, participants critique and provide feedback on one another's work and learn to read application essays or proposals from a reviewer's perspective.

Information Sessions provide in depth information on the application logistics and best practices for specific awards.

The Early Graduate Study Fellowship Mentoring Program is offered each summer to entering doctoral students eligible to apply for the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship and/or the Ford Foundation's Predoctoral Fellowship.
