Welcome to GradFund, the Resource Center for Graduate Student External Support. As a service provided by the Graduate School-New Brunswick, we help graduate students and postdoctoral scholars identify and apply for external merit-based funding to support their scholarly activities. Since our office was established in 2000, we have helped the Rutgers University community win over $20 million in grants and fellowships.
At GradFund, Assistant Dean Teresa Delcorso and her fellowship advising team focus on you as a scholar and researcher, and help you understand how to integrate the process of applying for funding into your scholarly career. We offer advice and guidance on applying for funding through multiple formats, including individual appointments, workshops and events, and online resources. To learn more about external funding options for your program of study, be sure to visit our Introduction to External Funding.
Our website provides basic information on identifying funding options and providing general guidance on proposal writing. To begin to learn about the world of external graduate funding, visit our Introduction to External Funding. Then, use the links at the left or within each page to navigate through our site. For one-on-one help, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an individual appointment, or attend one of our upcoming events.
